Dish Network Problems

Well, as I was watching TV (yes, I found something on TV), it turns out that my satellite dish just crapped out…bummer. It started out just a few channels, then a few more, and finally, all channels are dead. So, after calling DishNetwork tech support, I was told they could get a tech out on Monday the 4th (that’s 1 week). Totally unacceptable! Well, it looks like it is back to cable for me.

Nothing on TV

I have 300+ channels to choose from with DishNetwork, and there is nothing on TV…quite annoying.

Mac Syncing

As a mac user, we get treated as second rate ‘netizens, with the biggest issue that we (or at least me and alex) face is syncing multiple computers.  The information is more or less out there, but it’s hard to find.  So, here is how I do it, it’s not perfect, and there is more to go, but it’s a good start.

Doctor Review: Michelle Irvin

I would just like to take a moment to comment on Doctors. There are a few industries that could care less about customer service (more on this later). Specifically, I would like to address doctors, I’m sure there are some great doctors out there…however, I guess I’m not meeting them. Case in point, Dr. Michelle Irvin in Round Rock, TX. Happy Turkey Day!

Hey everyone! We’re spending the day at “Baba’s” cooking turkey and all the other goodies. The boys are upstairs in the “hideout” watching football, Baba is in the kitchen, Daddy’s waiting for me to stop using his laptop, Michael’s playing Dora on the GameCube, and Anna’s sleeping. (In case you haven’t heard, Anna Clare was born on the 14th of November at 4:16 am. She was 20.5 inches long and weighed 7lb 15oz. And she’s beautiful!)

I checked over the ads for tomorrow’s sales. Not much to speak of. I think Anna, Baba, and I will be staying home with the exception of a trip to Garden Ridge for some 50% off ornaments and lights. We’re going to check out what additions we could make to the front yard decorations. I think Black Friday will be spent putting up the tree and decorations in between feeding little Anna.

Not much else going on… just loving our beautiful kiddos and enjoying the great Texas winter. Happy Thanksgiving!

P.S. Baby announcements with pics of Anna will be in the mail shortly. Xmas cards to follow. :)
