Okay, so I have noticed that people seem to be finding the site with the search term “SBC Tech Support”, and then finding my rant on that. Heh…

I’m actually quite amused with that…

Well, let me tell you about my sh–ty day. It actually started at 6pm yesterday. My boss called to let me know that I *must* attend some meetings about some “issues” we are having, and that somehow LDAP might get blamed (this is another story altogether). These meetings are at 4pm. Now, so some of you that’s still “work” hours. However, to me that’s after hours (I get to work at 6am).

BACKGROUND INFO: All the building has rasied floors.

Well, that started the day off on the wrong foot. Then I get to work and I walk in the lobby. and I start to smell “something” funny. I figure that something “came in” from our side. Okay, no big deal…

Then I get to my floor…holy sh-t…the smell was OVERPOWERING.

What may you ask was the smell…WELL, it was RAW SEWAGE under the raised floor. Overnight a pipe burst…flooding the floor with RAW SEWAGE…wonderful…

Ahhh, coffee’s in the air, that could only mean one thing…it’s MORNING!

As I sat at my computer waiting for Mail to check all my accounts, some POP, some IMAP. I have to wonder, what’s the best protocol for me? Well, I suppose that it a topic for another blog.

I’m wondering what is the best Mail program for Mac? Apple Mail, while cool…seems to “perfer” .Mac accounts. Sure, it supports other accounts…it just works a little…weird at times. I can’t explain it…anyone else notice that?
